First up, an Appalachian Ultralight Thru Hiker in 45L, 18" Torso.

This pack actually rules, but I have too many things and would like to clean out my closet. Pictured in link with a dayhike load out for a stormy Sangre De Christo hop. A very excellent frameless pack that can pull double duty as a day pack or EVEN a carry-on bag for travel.

Second up, HMG Stuff Pack. Great little daypack. Lots of reviews on the HMG site say folks use this for a dry bag for a quilt then bust it out for summit trips or dayhikes after establishing a primary camp. I used it as a daypack in Alaska as well as for cross country travel as another receptacle for clothes and stuff. Good bag.
