Size large. New in 2012 and used for one season of ice climbing and a few backpacking trips. Primarily in snow, thus the relatively little dirt. There are a couple of small holes in the bottom that can be quickly and permanently patched with Seam Grip or equivalent. The orange patch covers a crampon puncture. The black mark is from ice tool grip tape.

HMG packs are time tested and durable. They endure many Alaska Wilderness Mountain Classic races while most packs get shredded and go in the dumpster after one race. Point being... though it has some cosmetic flaws, this pack still years of adventuring to go.
