Hyperlite Mountain Gear Ice Pack 2400 - $100
This is a 2400 cu. in. HMG Ice Pack (2400=smaller of two sizes in terms of capacity, approx 40L). This is not the current edition - it's a couple years old. It is identical to the newer version except that it dose not have a reinforced 150d bottom. It has seen use: I primarily used this pack for ice climbing and winter alpine climbing only, it is a great design for ice, fabric however is a little delicate for rock climbing wear and tear. Like all HMG products this is made from a Cuben fiber/50d Polyester hybrid fabric (AKA Dyneema) - 100% water proof. The black spots on the pack are mastic tape residue from an ice tool. Orange square on the side is a patch over a small hole. HMG packs are super comfortable and extremely light for their size. If you're looking for an HMG pack but don't want to pay the hefty price check this one out! used indeed, but has many more days of life - particularly if you're going to use it ice climbing.
