These tree huggers are made using 1" polyester webbing with a 1500 pound strength rating. Weight is .2 ounces per foot. Use these to go around the tree to protect it from damage that would otherwise be inflicted if just using rope. 2" loops are sewn in each end using two box-x patterns.
These whoopie slings are made with 7/64" Amsteel Blue in a variety of lengths and colors. The average strength rating of 7/64" Amsteel Blue is 1600 pounds. The whoopie sling derates the rope by no more than 5% so you can be certain these will give you years of service with no knots to tie. All of our whoopie slings feature a plastic 'safety bead' on the adjustable loop to prevent pull-through. For use on 2-point, single occupant hammocks.
These toggles are for use with a marlin spike hitch. The marlin spike hitch/toggle method is an ultra light weight option for attaching your whoopie slings to your tree huggers. These toggles are lathe cut from Easton Aluminum arrow shafts and are cross drilled on one end for a customer provided keeper loop. They measure 2 1/2" in length and are for use on 1" webbing.
