Did this mod myself, removed the zipper, hood and draft tube. Stuffed the down from the hood and draft tube into the top two baffles. Sewed up nice and tight. Now this doesn't look like a sleeping bag/ quilt mod that Tim from EE would produce, but its solid and warm. I'm 5'10" and this comes up to eye level when I lay flat in it, and it's slightly longer in the back where the base of the hood was.
