For Sale: 1971-72 Sierra Designs Glacier Tent

Too many tents on the shelf here......
This is my Sierra Designs Glacier tent from 1971 or 1972. I bought this at EMS for one of my first backpacking trips. It didn't get a lot of use - perhaps 20 nights or so - always with a plastic footprint underneath- before I bought a Stephenson 3R. It's been sitting in dry storage since the late 70s.

I just pitched the tent today and it seems in good shape. The zippers all work - including the 'cookhole' zipper - and the fly seems still waterproof (I gave it a good hosing down with the garden sprayer). The tent and fly are clean, with no 'old tent' smell. The fly is creased but water beads on it and it seems waterproof. There is a 1" repair in the mosquito netting at the main door. Poles are in good shape with original shock cord. Guylines and stuffsacks are not original, and the pegs are an assortment of metal skewers.

I can include a DIY homemade 'mosquito net tent' (copy of the Glacier) with bathtub floor if the buyer covers the shipping. (I used the net tent and the Glacier fly on a canoe trip on the Coppermine in the 80s.)

Shipping from BC to USA locations via CanadaPost Expedited parcel will be about $35. Buyer to pay exact shipping cost- no extra handling charges. Payment by Paypal.

Please make me an offer; I don't know the value of these tents. I'd like to get an axe to replace my Chouinard bamboo-shaft axe which got left in a cache in India (never revisited, sadly) ....

Please ask any questions here or via pm.
Thanks
John
