I bought them to be a comfortable shoe and I fitted them a 1/2 size too big for me. I climbed maybe 3-5 pitches in them in Eldo (not jammed into cracks). These shoes have some chalk dust on them and very minimal signs of use on the rubber, essentially they are new with a square edge still all around the toe.
