This Gatewood & Serenity combo is awesome.

I have used them but they are in very good shape.

The cape has original lines and I seamsealed it myself and I must say I did a great job :) The seal job has lasted two years without a leak and I don't expect it to leak soon - but some say you should do it every year.

The Serenity has an awesome extra zipper to access the rear of the shelter from INSIDE the net, replacement elastic ties installed on two corners (just larkshead, not sewn), and an extra cord attached to the roof if you desire to use it in a variety of other shelters. I haven't weighed it w/the extra zipper, but keep in mind this weighed 7 oz. stock! I estimate 8 oz, vs 11oz for the current version.

They may have some trail dirt but if they do it's not much, as they have been very well babied!
