WTB: Bibs for ice climbing and skiing

Looking for a set of hardshell bibs for ice climbing and (mostly resort) skiing. I’m 6’2” 175lbs (generally M fits from most brands). I’ve got a couple of pairs of softshells and looking for something to take on wetter weather, and get back into skiing now that I’m living somewhere it’s possible.

Some nice-to-haves are:

  • Full length side zips
  • Crampon reinforced patches
  • Drop-seat
  • Lots of pockets
  • Black

I’ve been looking at:

  • Arc’teryx beta SV (discontinued, bummer)
  • Arc’teryx alpha SV (unsure on ski boot fit)
  • Mountain Hardwear Routefinder
  • Norrona trollveggen pants + zip on bib (I have these softshells, it’s a cool system)
  • Patagonia dual aspect
  • OR Archangel
  • Mammut Haldigrat

Let me know what you’ve got and are willing to part with, or if you have any advice on what I should look for!
