I have a new pair of Scarpas approach shoes designed for mountain running and technical approaches. I was really excited about this shoe for big traverses. They seem sturdier than the LS mutants and I suspect the edge and climb way better, but still have thread for snow and loose dirt. Unfortunately they are too narrow for my foot. I’ve only worked them around the house and for a brief run, but couldn’t make the size work. They look brand new. Asking $80 obo shipped. They run 170 online and are often out of stock.
