• this is an old model - before Patagonia got super cheap and started using low cost zippers on their goods. all zippers are YKK. this old jacket zips smoother than a new one in stores by a long shot. 
• No rips, holes, issues with the fabric except some small marks and dirty areas by the underside of the sleeves
• all shock cord bits (waist and hood adjust) are good. perfectly elastic
• however, the elastic in the hand/sleeve hole is pretty much gone
