Great condition mid-layer for cold conditions. seperated baffles create WAY more breathability than standard down jackets, and the 800 pro down is hydrophobic so wear it in the rain and don't fret! 

It's a too large for me to wear as a mid layer, but if you are looking for a puffy to leave on for the entire day uphill and downhill without overheating here it is. Also, since the down is stiched into the face fabric in just one spot it can tear the face fabric without ripping open any baffles - the face material is super durable in it's own right though.... no holes yet.
