For sizing, I would consider my street shoe size to be 11. I wear an 11 running shoe in Brooks, Hoka, and Salomon. Sportiva running shoes notoriously run about a half size small, so I wear a 45/11.5 in Sportiva. Both of these fit me well, just not what I'm looking for.
