Gore Tex decided to start selling to the public direct a few years ago.  $200 was MSRP on this, one of their first jackets to market direct.  I was given two but will never wear out the first one. Packs down and clips to harness (if climbing) but is tape and sealed and truly rain resistant.   12 oz, and packability, it is just a true rain jacket vs wind jacket like the OR Helium.  Billed as a road bikers jacket, makes it exactly what you want for running, hiking and/or climbing in conditions where light weight is essential.  Backcountry has this jacket on sale at $130 as of this posting, I priced it accordingly, new with tags.
