Let’s be honest, you weren’t going to get these re-slung. I know about those slings on your rack that would make a shag carpet self conscious, and I get it, it’s hard to send away your beloved toys: you have to pay to ship them, wait a long time, pay to re-sling them, pay to ship them back- such a hassle!

But you can sleep well, because I went and did it for you. You can assure your Mom you’re being super safe enough when you see her this holiday season. All the Metolius cams got loving attention and care by the pros at Metolius in November of 2022; they have been re-slung, polished, lubricated, and balanced. I still don’t believe those folks didn’t just swap out my cams for new ones. The BD Camalot’s (metal thumb piece/no thumb loop) and C4’s (plastic thumb loop) have been re-slung by none other than the man/myth/legend, Luke, at Runout Customs in Moab, Utah (which, I heard, has some decent climbing) also in November 2022. *on a serious note, both Runout Customs and Metolius had very fast turnaround times, offered great value, and are generally just wonderful. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
