Dear Mountain Project community,

Do you want to learn how to sew?  Are you looking for a new chalk bag or stuff sack?  here's your chance to satisfy both! 

A Covid Home Activity to Link Kommunity By Assembling Gear,   or CHALK BAG project. 

Through a combination of email information and zoom sessions, I’ll help guide you through the steps to make a chalk bag like this*.  You don't need any sewing experience (except for knowing how to operate your machine).  

Although a sewing machine will make the project easier, with a bit more time and effort you can sew one by hand.  For $15.00, I’ll mail you the materials to make a single project (including a needle and thread if necessary) and coordinate a group sewing session via Zoom.  Please indicate your interest to sew your own chalk bag by filling out a form here, or please let me know if you have any questions.

*the fabric for your chalk bag kits will probably be purple nylon (color shown here) left over from a friend's sewing project.
