This pack has been awesome, but I just upgraded to a 35 liter with a ski carry. No rips. The only real cosmetic issue is some residual dried glue at base (in picture) from my failed attempt to add a protective layer of material to the base where some tiny pinholes developed from rocks I suppose. I started to peal it off by hand, but it was very tedious. Although the material was too rigid to hold the patch, the glue did seal the pinholes which is a plus. This is a very durable and rain proof pack. Will ship for $10.
