It is downright hard to beat the MB Alpine Light Parka. Admission From a Down Junkie: this is my All Time Fave Down Jacket. I prefer a backcountry piece that is capable of crossover, dual purpose, still suitable around town, and for me this is the one. 4 oz of 800fp seems the perfect balance b/t warmth & weight. The 20d exterior fabric is my absolute fave after touching maybe 100 puffies.
