FS: ZPacks DCF Hexamid Twin Tent
This is a spacious tent for one person, two in an emergency.
14.4 oz Bug proof. Rain proven.
The generous volume works well to alleviate condensation.Has extended beak, paid $415, asking $260, post paid.
Tent only, needs poncho or polycro or tyvek on top of the netting floor.Used about 45 nights. I would not hesitate to take this tent on a thru-hike.
I estimate another 450 nights of use. Never left out in the sun.
I did foolishly carry this tent in the provided stuff sack on the outside of my pack, and there were some holes as a result. One of the great things about DCF is the excellent repair-ability. There are some 1/4″ x 1/4″ repairs with DCF tape.Side entry tents like this one are overwhelmingly more popular than front entry. I have decided I am the exception, and have purchased a front entry tent.
