FS: GoLite Imogene UL2 Tent (2 person – 3 season)

For sale is a GoLite Imogene UL2 Tent with all the accouterment. This includes the mesh inner, the rain fly, the poles (and pole repair part), eight stakes, guylines for every tie-out, the footprint, a stake sack, a pole sack, and a stuff sack that fits the inner, the outer, and the footprint. Total weight for all of the above is 48.65oz. However the trail weight could easily get down to 43-44oz with replacement of groundsheet, use of a lighter stuff sack, and inclusion of less stakes and guylines. I am asking $175 shipped (via USPS priority mail to CONUS). I will only accept Paypal goods and services, in order to protect both the buyer and seller.

I bought this a few years back, and have probably put ~20 nights on it. It has always treated me well (both as a double and single person tent), but I no longer need it. One of my favorite features is how quick and easy it is to setup thanks to all of the custom hardware it uses to connect the poles to the inner and outer (see pictures). I should also note that I have used this as a 3-season tent, and it can hold its own in the rain, wind, and even occasional light snow flurry.

The tent is in excellent condition, with no holes, tears, stains, or other damage. The one exception is the ground sheet, which has a number of holes in it. I have patched the majority of them with gorilla tape, but there may be a few pin-holes that I missed. Some ounces could easily be shaved by replacing this ground sheet (~4oz) with polycyro or tyvek.

The original tent bag has been upgraded to an OR UL 10L stuff sack (much more durable and ~1oz); however, this means that the tent poles must be packed separately (see pictures). Four of the eight original stakes have been upgraded to titanium (see pictures). All guylines that would normally be used are attached to the fly and the tent. Three extra guylines for heavy weather are included, one is original, and two are made of 2/3mm reflective cord (see pictures).

For those not familiar with the GoLite brand, they made some well designed and quality UL gear and sold directly to consumers until their demise ~2015. There was a brief attempt at a revival a few years back as MyTrailCo, but they couldn’t get the finances together and eventually went out of business for good.
