FS: clearing out the Tarptent collection: Sublite, Squall 2, Cloudburst 2, Notch

Finally trying to address the fact that I have far, far too much gear. I have a Notch Li on the way for solo trips, and my 2 person (or more) trips have shifted towards true tents. So cleaning out a bit.  Paypal F&F or add 3%. Open to reasonable offers (esp. if combining).

TT Sublite Tyvek (a bit of a museum piece)

I bought it several years ago on Ebay mainly out of curiosity and finally took it out a couple of times last year. Net: it’s not big enough for me given brush-against-walls-single-wall condensation risk in the PNW where I hike (I’m 6’1”). Has a vent at the front and top, and full mesh around the bottom. Also separate mesh and tyvek door zippers. Two struts at the foot to keep things off your bag. Definitely not new! Though the only issue you’d maybe want to address is the missing velcro tabs to secure your hiking poles to the sides (see pix – these must have been glued on as some are simply missing while others have been re-stitched on). Also one spot bunching a bit from seam sealant (no functional impact). In general a bit dusty and used, but still quite functional, Very light (20.8 oz with guy lines and stuff sack, no stakes), and a fun bit of Tarptent’s earlier and experimental history.

TT Squall 2 (I think…)

I never actually used this – bought in excellent condition ~2 years ago and it needs a new home. Is seam sealed and includes the rear hooped pole and front spreader pole. 35.6 oz on my scale with stock guy lines and stuff sack, no stakes. I guess the MoTrail is the closest in their current line-up, though the Squall is arguably nicer with it’s hooped footer.

TT Cloudburst 2 (floorless, good used condition)

This was my go-to Rocky Mountain shelter when I lived in CO 10 yrs ago but has seen next to no use the past decade. This is a floor-less model (remember when that was the Tarptent default?) but has the standard netting skirt and inverted T front entrance. Side flaps can roll up/down depending on weather. Early model with half-coverage vestibule area. Very easy to set up, expansive space, very light for what it is, and hooped geometry makes it very stable. AFAIK TT doesn’t really have something comparable in their 2-person lineup these days. Great overall shelter I’m frankly hesitant to sell / kind-of testing the waters here. Good condition overall. 32.6 oz on my scale with poles, stock guy lines and stuff sack, no stakes. Has been stored with a standard PU coated ground sheet and has a bit of “old nylon” smell but I assume that will clear up (it’s silnylon after all).

TT Notch (silnylon, great condition)

Nearly perfect solo-shelter for me, so much so I just bought an Li version (my first ever DCF tent…) Not seam sealed.  Standard mesh interior. 28.1 oz on my scale with guy lines (including extra long lines tied to the apexes) and stuff sack, no stakes.
