This WTB is want-to-buy and/or want-to-beg. I am a new scoutmaster for a troop of ~30 scouts and we've been working to prepare for a couple of backpacking trips this summer and in the coming year. We've made some gear and worked to slim down our pack weights. What I'm looking to buy (or PIF to a great cause!):

* Small cool items that I could give as rewards to scouts (lightest pack, most precise weight, etc). Our last trip I gave firesteel which of course the scouts love. Maybe you've got some small somewhat unique piece of gear lying around gathering dust that a young scout might cherish?

* Cheap old beat-up but durable gear that I could buy on behalf of the troop. Scouts are not picky, so that old pack or sleeping bag or tent or whatever might be perfect. It need not fit the high standards of BPL for UL as those items may not fit our budget.
