Used it for 19 nights in PCT Washington in rains/thunderstorms (cowboy camped with my bivy a few nights without the tarp). Worked awesome. No water or splash from rain as tarp in humongous. I coupled this with Hexamid solo plus bath tub from Zpacks which worked great. It has connection points to prop up the bathtub on 3 sides of the wall. Only reason I am selling is because I got the Altaplex tent that Zpacks released recently. In perfect condition. I used my Black Diamond Ergo cork poles which probably extend up to 56 inches. Ideally you will need a 58 to 60 inch pole to get more clearance if you are 6 feet plus (zpacks does sell a pole extender).  I am 5′ 10” and a 56 inch pole worked fine for me.

The tarp can be set up flush to the ground in bad storms.
