Climbing Mt. Rainier next May, planning a Banff trip, want to start getting into mountaineering. Looking mostly for good deals (not necessarily the newest and greatest), I already have most of the other equipment.

I'm 6'2", 170 lbs, slim-athletic, from Texas.

Want a 60 cm axe. May be interested in a 65 cm.

Probably L or XL for mittens.

Size 31-32 waist and 33-34 inseam. (30-31 waist if elastic, 31-32 if bib/tightenable)

I will most likely not buy your mountaineering boots because I am hesitant not knowing my size. If anyone isn't using their boots in the 44.0-45.0 range and wants to be generous, we can work something out! I am comfortable in a size 11 street shoe, and climb in comfortable size 10.5 Anasazi Pinks and really tight 43.5 Scarpa Furia S's.

Hesitant on Crampons and Gaiters as well since I don't know what my boot situation will look like.
