Hello to all,

I'm planning to do a good SOBO section of the AT beginning in the middle of June.

I currently have a REI passage 2 tent that I bought for me and my son. On trips it weighs in at 4lbs 11 oz. It is a great tent and I love it. I will keep it for the reasons above.

I'm looking for an ultralight tent that will pack small and at 2 pounds some odd ozs. I don't have much room in my wallet....like most, so cost is an issue. I have been looking at the big agnes UL tents but don't have the $$. I have looked at the MSR hubba 1 as well.

Any information would be greatly appreciated, and well received.
