Hi all! I bought this jacket according to the size chart supplied by Montbell Japan customer service. I am generally a size medium (US) in 90% of brands. XL appeared nearly identical to their US Med so I went with it. I decided I wanted to give the Large a shot, just to see. Well, as it turns out, the L did fit great. So I am selling the XL.

XL Japan fit seems more like a US L to me. I took a couple pics of both jackets, overlapped, so you can judge for yourself. For reference I am 6ft even, 167lbs. The L fits perfect. The XL was very close to perfect but I felt like the stomach/chest area was a little loose.

Japan version DOES have pockets, for those of you who can't do without.

This thing is crazy light but warm. Staggered seam, sewn thru construction. 7D nylon. 1000FP down.

Still brand new! I've only had the jacket since last Friday. I wore it inside my house for about 10 minutes before I decided to order the next size. Never been outside, hiked in, etc. New with tags (cut off). I paid 25,400 yen ($226.74) I am asking for $215 shipped to hopefully recover most of the money.
