Each Mayfly chair comes with brand new poles (there was a known manufacturing defect with the Mayfly poles and Alite replaced them with a brand new, fortified set under their warranty) that should work as designed now. Each chair weighs 1.4 lbs and can withstand 250 lbs. The front leg is removable and can turn into a rocker like the Monarch.
