I have G3 Alpinist skins that slip a lot on steep skin tracks that everyone else climbs without issues. The glue has also become very gummy and sticks to the bases a lot, which also hinders the downhill. I'm sure it's not the norm, but I still don't want another pair of Alpinists. Maybe I'd give the High Tractions a try.

That being said, I'm looking ideally for some nylon BD skins, but open to other options if they seem right. Need to have at least average grip (don't want super glidey skins), I'm sick of slipping all over the place on steep tracks.
My skis are 178cm and 100 at the waist and about 115 at their widest, I think.
