Maybe taking a shot in the dark here. But I'm looking for an ice axe for general mountaineering (~60cm, 65 on the higher end), open to a hybrid axe if you've got it. And then crampons, preferably steel. My boots have front and rear welts, so whatever you might have, just let me know. Not looking for a pro setup - just safe, affordable, beginner gear for moderate routes/learning techniques.
