HMG Southwest 2400 Tall with detachable hip belt

Three years old. Heavily modified. I used this for bikepacking and ul overnighters. I wanted something lean, so I cut off all side straps, ax strap, and both side pockets. There is still a small pocket at the bottom of the sides that were useful for tucking in pole tips (See photo).

When backpacking, I put a Gatorade bottle in the large back pocket.

The black cuben has held up well. There’s a little dirt, some salt lines that can be wiped off. But no tears or holes.

Framelss, it was weighs 19.1 oz. With the stays but no belt, it’s 23.7oz. The belt adds another 4.9oz.
