Ready to start your Spring 2019 Southwest roadtrip and need a low commitment, reliable built-out van? Psyched to van-life without getting too spendy?? This 1999 GMC Safari (Astro Van) with a custom build-out might be just the ticket for you!!

The van's build-out includes the following: (1) bed platform with memory foam mattress that has the option of integrating with a cooler; (2) small shelving unit with a few netted drawers for storage as well as huge storage space under the platform; and (3) a giant pull-out divided drawer in the back for gear and food, and a big board that goes over the drawer to create a cooking space that's sheltered by the hatchback.

The van has 190K, is RWD and runs great. I recently replaced the brakes, oil pan, and tires, and don't see any major problems on the horizon. The cruise control, radio, heat, and A/C all work great. The passenger side window does not roll down, but that could be fixable.
