I mounted the hammer to a motorcycle, and lived as a motorcycle dirtbag. The aluminum is worn near the head and on the shaft (see pictures). I still use the tool, but it does not come with a warranty, implied or otherwise. I trust it, but you must use your judgment.

The adze was barely used.
