I wore these to work, factory with a smooth concrete floor walking 7-8 miles a night, they worked fine and suffered little wear due to the finish of the floor. I wear a 9 or 9.5. These were great in the factory. After I retired and started hiking in the Georgia hills I ordered a pair of 9.5s. Keen does claim that they do run a bit on the small size.
