This spring I bought a Hyperlite Mountain Gear 4400 Southwest, size Large. Over the course of this summer it has become clear that I should have bought the Tall model. Other than that I love this pack.

The Good: It's been used a total of 12 nights, all in Yosemite this summer. There's a bit of trail dirt here and there but no abrasions or tears.

The Bad: The internal mesh pocket has a small rip from where my bear can caught on it.
