**FS: summit/day pack -- Osprey Manta 30L -- $50 OBO
For Sale: Osprey Manta 30L
- Condition: Lightly used; bought for my girlfriend (a while ago); she's gone (that's good) and I kept the pack (even better). Some minor abrasions--on the pack, not the ex-girlfriend (see photos; again, of pack...).
- Pack Capacity: 27L. Yeah, I know it says "30L" on the front of the pack, but technically, because it's a S/M size, it's 27L. I don't want to get sued over 3L (maybe for 4L, but certainly not 3L).
- Retail Cost: bought it about eight years ago; think it went for around $150. REI has the 28L for $165.
- Price: $50 seems fair, plus shipping ($14 Priority Mail; free local pick up in Vegas or Yosemite beginning of Sept.), though I'm open to offers. PayPal Family & Friends or you pay the PayPal fee.
Color: Looks like light green to me. "Olive" maybe? (I'm not good at the whole what-color-is-it thing)
Features: Lots. This pack has more pockets than a Vaudeville magician. (I count nine, but there may be more.)
Integrated strap for trekking poles: shock-chord, adjustable straps on the left shoulder--pretty cool innovation. (Plastic-covered loop on the bottom front of the pack.)
Integrated, vertically-adjustable sternum strap. Has magnet on it that holds the bite valve of hydration tube--again, another cool innovation.
Side zip pockets: can secure small items or leave open for water bottle(s)
Main pocket can fit a skinny 60m rope--easier to carry during a walk-off than backpacking it.
Size: S/M
"Air-speed" suspension system: very breathable and comfortable
Hip Belt with zippered pockets.
Bottom of photo: loop for trekking poles, which is adjustable from the left shoulder strap.
Two compression straps on each side--can be used to secure rope to top/sides of pack for walk-off
Internal organizing pockets and key fob.
Minor abrasions ( three photos below)
Rain Fly: bright red. Stows in its own dedicated pocket on bottom of pack (that makes 10, I guess). Shock cord with cord lock for tight fit.
Rain fly detaches to be used as a very, very small parachute in the event you're in a very, very dire emergency and you're certain--very, very certain--this is the way you want to die.
Dedicated slot for hydration reservoir/bladder (hydration reservoir not included).
Another large, easy-access pocket.
