You don't need a carabiner or dutch clip with this setup because you can loop the suspension through the strap and then hook to the hammock. Also lets you carry the suspension in a separate bag if they get dirty/wet/sappy. The tarp ridgeline, once attached to your tarp, allows you to string up the ridegline and secure it tight and then slide the tarp along the ridgeline, via the prrussik softshackles, to center your tarp over the hammock and then pull tight.
