Got scammed on another forum*. I have an Exos but I was hoping to use the Burn for an upcoming trip. If you have one you'd consider selling (probably not), please DM me.

*So, there's a new scam going around. I talked to my local PD and they said this has been happening recently. I bought a Burn (or so I thought) in another group. What the person did is this:

- took my money

- looked up my address and found a recently sold home a mile away

- sent junk to my name at that address (i wasn't supposed to find it, but i did, because I posted to Nextdoor about a missing package for me, and the previous homeowner had just received it)

- sent me the tracking number so it appeared that my package was on the way

- verified the item as shipped with paypal

- ghosted

Now, you're probably thinking "but paypal buyer protection!" Unfortunately not, because PayPal believes that this is a scam on the part of the buyer, because apparently for years buyers + sellers have been collaborating to scam PayPal by doing this, where a seller "accidentally" sends it to the wrong address, then the buyer goes and gets it, and files a dispute. So proving that this is a legitimate buyer scam is now difficult.

Anyway, as always, be careful, there are some really shitty people out there.
