My pack from a small cottage company just completely blew out- L side fell apart completely when I had to drop it about 10' on an unexpected scramble/chute situation. I'm doing the SHR next month and unsure how I feel about either fixing that or going even with same company, which bums me out.

Need a small torso, no frame or hipbelt (or one I can easily cut off), 35-40L is ideal, definitely under a 1lb. The two packs I've used on thrus so far were a zpacks zero (liked the design but ultimately the cuben laminate annoyed me) and this last one that was similar to Pa'alante (liked the design a lot but stitching didn't hold, I'd had two other issues that I'd repaired before this blow-out). I had a MLD exodus before which was burly AF but too big torso, and had some bad customer service. so probably don't want to do a burn or something. But IDK.

Pack will need a strap on top for foam mattress, and be able to fit BV 450 (shouldn't be an issue for most packs).
