This is an olive green windshirt made with a heavier weight Epic by Nextect silicone-encapsulated fabric. These were quite popular about a decade ago due to their very high water resistance that does not require periodic re-treatment with hydrophobic chemicals. Because its water-repellancy is a property of the fabric, rather than a coating, this hooded wind jacket is suitable for longer trips that involve bushwhacking, where contact would quickly rub off the chemical water repellant coatings of all other windshirts. It is on the lower end of the air permeability spectrum, however, and is probably best suited to cool and wet climes.

Very good condition with a couple of small snags.
