Kind of looking for some lightweight shoes for winter hikes, so a little ice and a lot of snow. I'm thinking something similar to the Brooks Cascadia or Salomon XA. This follows a thread in Gear where I'm wondering if my current shoes are not going to work for me this winter.

Doesn't have to be waterproof. I'll wear waterproof socks. It does need really good grip, and space for a gaiter strap.

I don't have too much money (gotta pay my taxes), so I'm definitely in the "Used" market. Also, I need a wide toe box, and prefer minimalist shoes. Thanks!
