I am looking to see if there would be any interest in my Superior Wilderness Designs Long Haul 50. I used it for my JMT hike, which took 21 days (16 hiking days, took a few zeros because of an injury). It is a little dirty, but I have washed in it lukewarm water and a few drops of Dr. Bronner’s.

Other than some dirty spots (they’re not really that bad), the pack shows pretty much no wear. There are no rips, tears, or holes.

It is sized for a ~17-18″ torso length, and has a medium hip belt. At the end of the hike I had a 29″ waist, and was almost tightening the hip belt to it’s max.

Custom options I added:

4 way hip belt.

Two stretchy pockets on the shoulder straps.

Stretchy back pocket.

I also replaced the rather heavy cord for the side compression with lash it.

I did write my accomplishment on the top of the pack with permanent marker, but after the wash it faded a bit. I don’t know how chemicals react with Xpac so I didn’t want to try and get it out myself.

I really love this pack, but now that I’ve lowered my base weight even further, I don’t need the extra space.

Weighs in at 29oz on my kitchen scale.
