I have a box full of static ropes retired from work use. We climb bridges and dams, the ropes are used mainly to rappel and build anchors. Our safety manual has us retire them every two years. These were all retired in 2012 so they're circa 2010.

We probably have 20 days each year on rope. They're stored indoors. Allowed to dry if they get wet. Obviously they were work ropes so they get dirty. Range from about 10.5mm to 11mm. No reason not to trust them, but it's your call.

Sterling Rope recycling doesn't accept static ropes so thought I'd offer them up to MP. Cost covers shipping essentially.

Blue, red and white all 100ft +/- 25ft. $15/each
Green and yellow both 200ft +/- 50ft. $20/each
