I used this pack less then 2 weeks on the AT when the frame punched through the bottom of the belt and pack due to a manufacturing defect where the frame wasn't rounded down. GG replaced the belt and frame but I had already purchased a new pack to keep hiking so this one has been sitting in the closet since.

The hole is small and easily mended (see pic). Besides that, the pack is in like new condition. I never used the back/sit pad.
