(The pack and pad combined would cost about $200 new. Also, full disclosure: I'm not a big fan of the air beam frame, since the one I got seems to slowly leak air and I have to re-pump about once a day. Other than that, it's really comfortable--just a pain in the butt to re-pump it so often. If you don't like the air beam, though, you can just get a foam pad for cheap or get the GG sitlight pad for $10 or so.)

I've owned the pack for about 3 months. The front mesh pocket has a few small holes that don't affect performance whatsoever.
