I purchased this pack new in August '13 and have only used it on two trips this summer for a total of 10 days use. It's in really good condition. There is one small spot (smaller than a dime) of pine sap on a compression strap. No scuffs, tears, rips, abrasion, or piling, etc. I'll follow up with some photos later this evening.
