For sale is an inherited Garmin eTrex Vista-H. This is the more expensive entry-level unit from around 2010-2011 (as far as I can tell) because it incorproates WAAS capability for more accurate location data.

It comes preloaded with a basemap for the US, but you can add more maps from Garmin if you'd like.

I put brand new Lithium batteries in it and I'll include some spare batteries because they're only sold in packs of 4.

I'm selling it because, after some exploration of the maps available for my iPhone and some consultation of old BPL threads, this looks redundant for my on-trail needs. It's more accurate than an iPhone and it's waterproof and tough.

It would make a great starter for backcountry navigation or an insurance policy.

Weight is just over 5oz.
