Hi everyone,

The gear for sale below belonged to Mike Seaman, my good friend and training partner of 15+ years (bike/xc-ski racing) who was hit and killed by a car while on a training ride in June. He raced Road, MTB, Cyclocross, also paddled, climbed and skied XC and tele. One of the nicest guys in the world: would do anything for anyone. He was especially generous in helping beginners get outfitted in new pursuits. I once mentioned this to him and he said he just wanted people to have fun playing outdoors.

Proceeds from the sale goes to a scholarship fund in his name (Friends of Mike Seaman) at Montcalm Community College (Michigan) where he taught sociology, economics, and poly-sci. He was deeply committed to social justice. The fund is administered by Isabella Bank, Mount Pleasant, MI.

My best guess is that this climbing gear was purchased roughly between 1998 and 2010. So any nylon must be replaced. The gear is used but in okay or better shape.
