I want a real stove for the AT, and bought a Primus OmniLite Ti. It's a nice stove which will satisfy my need for motivating pancakes , but it sounds like a jet engine. I'd rather not be that one hiker disturbing the peace of the great outdoors. Primus makes a replacement head (available here for $39.95), and there's a BernieDawg add-on silencer (here for $36.15). Anyone have one of these, or something similar, that they want to get rid of? Any useful tips about silencing the OmniLite Ti would also be appreciated.
