For sale is a brand new SMD Deschutes plus tarp and matching carbon fiber pole (49 inches). Bought in 2017, only set up to seam seal in my backyard. It has never seen the outdoors and is spotless. I'm selling because I already have 2 other tents and cannot justify keeping this one.

Weights: 16.1oz for the tarp (seam sealed with stuff sack), 1.75oz for the 49" carbon fiber pole.

This is a really cool shelter and the perimeter bug netting is the perfect length to keep the bugs away. Matching a polycryo or tyvek groundsheet will give you a lot of protection from below. It also sets up really quick and is simple to get a taught pitch. It would be great for someone looking to lighten their pack and test the waters with floorless shelters.
