No longer need this, have been issued a carrier. low profile Plate carrier made by Specter gear. Looks more forest green in pics because of crappy camera, but is OD green. Padded shoulder straps are removable, and you can run a mic cord through them. vastly more comfortable than a standard carrier, and a hell of a lot cooler in hot climates thanks to the plate pockets being no larger than necessary to fit on the plates.

Im 5'9" and 170, lean but with broad shoulders, and it fits great. Bigger and small guys both wore it. Anyone near around a size 44 jacket should fit in this.
